This is not exactly a travel guide because Kasauli is one of those places that are so close to Delhi and Chandigarh that hundreds of people flock down there to beat the scorching Summers and it doesn’t need a guide because there isn’t much planning to do here. We went there ourselves, just for a day. Even though Kasauli has lost the charm it once used to have, it was still one perfect day in Kasauli and it was everything that we wanted it to be. The trick is to avoid the touristy spots like manki point etc altogether. We stayed at the Kasauli Regency. They have a rooftop bar and restaurant which has the best views of kasauli. (Dining under the stars didn’t hurt either 😛 ! 🙂
There is not much to say here, it is just a small cantonment and town in Solan District. When in Kasauli you can take little hikes, roam around, find beautiful spots to just sit, gaze at the sky and get lost in your conversations. 🙂
Here are some of the pictures:
Have you ever been to Kasauli? Let us know in the comments!
Till next time. 🙂
