5 Simple Healthy Breakfast Ideas (That take not more than 5 Minutes)

Breakfast, being the most important meal of the day, should not be skipped and everyone that goes to the office knows how difficult it is to find those 5-10 minutes in the morning, when you simply enjoy your breakfast. Most of us are in a rush in the morning, we keep snoozing the alarms and in the end leave for office on an empty stomach. I used to be the same but then one day I decided that I am gonna find time for breakfast, even if it means that I have to get up a little early than I usually do. And it has made a big difference in my lifestyle. So here are some easy, simple and healthy Breakfast ideas for you, that take only about 5 minutes to make.

  1. Healthy Toasts:30742484_1920622431282202_5065502274491514880_n

Almost all of us used to eat Jam toast for breakfast when we were little. Now, in order to make it healthy and more nutritious, substitute Jam for Peanut butter and top with some banana, chia seeds, Flax seeds & Sunflower seeds. I also absolutely LOVE adding fresh strawberries, walnut and shredded coconut. Just add a little spoon of honey for added deliciousness. Have it with Green tea to cut through that sweetness.

  2. Good ‘ol Eggs:

If you like eggs then you have so many options that you can make for breakfast. There is omelette, scrambled eggs with tomatoes and onions for days when you want a hearty savoury breakfast and of course boiled eggs with toast. Options are endless! I like the classic omelette and toast with some fruits on the side.

  3. Love Me some OATS: 30710996_1920622697948842_8440679771179843584_nI know a lot of people don’t like oats but I LOVE having oats for breakfast. I usually make 2 variations: Overnight Oats and 2 Minute oats. I will share the recipes soon. The best thing is that you can add whatever ingredients you like and make the bowl look super pretty real quick. It is almost like a therapy.
  4. Poha:30713751_1920622667948845_3612513399440670720_n Poha is a very common Healthy Indian Breakfast option. Made with flattened puffed rice, it literally takes just 5-10 minutes to chop the onion and tomatoes. I will share the recipe in another blog post soon as it is one of my fav breakfast to have on a weekend.
