Humayun’s Tomb: In Pictures

Humayun’s Tomb is the tomb of the famous Mughal emperor Humanyun and was commissioned by his wife,Empress Baga Begum in 1569-70. It was the first garden tomb on the entire subcontinent and the gardens inside are really beautiful. There are such huge green tress, some of which are hundreds of years old. it is the perfect place for a picnic and no doubt, this has become ‘the’ hangout place for a lot of people in Delhi.

We went early morning and it was incredibly beautiful and there was no one there except for the two of us and some stray dogs and some cute old uncles doing their morning yoga. Here are some of the pictures that we took:
